Apart from my experience in various institutions of learning in some nations of the world, my life trajectory spans in a broad spectrum across not less than three continents of the world. Rising in Africa, spreading in Europe and eventually settling in the United States of America. In this life journey, sojourning in and visiting numerous civilizations, I have observed in close proximity, the best and the worst of employees treatment.
Here in this country, beyond the berating and lackluster relationship uniform officers often receive from patrons and customers alike, I have seen an inherent culture of neglect and trivialization of these well-meaning personnel whose bravery is next to none. Though they spend their courage in the delivery of their solemn responsibility to provide seamless security and safety services in the furtherance of a protected America, they get spent in unrewarding manner by shylock employers who flirt around their money and benefits with deep intent to scoop out of the meagre income. Additionally, I have also found by critical observation that there is a speedy and urgent need for in-local virile and formidable structure that can withstand the onslaught of corrupt labor organizations. It is not for nothing that most union outfits in recent years have so vehemently worked against the institutionalization of prevailing and thriving structures in bargaining unit that they represent. Such haphazard posture allows them to defraud the officers of not just their portions of the union dues collected but also of the fringe benefits.
